Primary School English Teacher (Surulere)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Primary School English Teacher

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Teach core English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary development.
• Enrich classroom learning with interactive activities such as storytelling, debates, role play, guided reading, and creative writing exercises.
• Assess student performance through observations, written assignments, oral presentations, projects, and standardized assessments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of pupils.
• Use a variety of instructional methods such as discussions, direct instruction, group work, and independent practice
• Design and deliver engaging daily lesson plans aligned with national, local, and school English language standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in the use of interactive/smart boards and digital learning tools.
• Valid teaching certification.
• ?Knowledge and experience with the British Curriculum.
• Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
