We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Food and Nutrition / Home Economics Teacher

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
Teach students food and nutrition principles, meal planning, and practical life skills
Assess student learning and provide feedback
Demonstrate and teach practical life skills, including food preparation, budgeting, and home management
Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum in Food and Nutrition/Home Economics
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Food and Nutrition, Education, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, food preparation, and safety protocols.
Teaching certification/license.
A minimum of 3 years of experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
TRCN Certification is an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in practical skills related to cooking, meal planning, sewing, or household management.
Advanced degrees or certifications in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or Nutrition (desirable).
