• Lead and develop a technical writing team focused on clarity and impact.
• Define and drive docs strategy, standards, and IA across the platform.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Support to document features as built.
• Improve developer onboarding and reduce time to integration via structured docs.
• Drive AI-driven content workflows to scale, improve discoverability, and UX.
• Ensure docs are accurate, timely, and aligned with how developers build on Marqeta.

???? Requirements

• 8+ years in technical writing or developer documentation, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience delivering API/SDKs or complex platform docs.
• Strong information architecture and content strategy skills.
• Translate complex systems into clear, concise, actionable guidance.
• Proficiency with Markdown, Git, and modern documentation tools.
• Experience with AI-driven or automated documentation workflows.
