Job Position: Internal Control Lead

Role Summary
- The Internal Control Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring internal control systems across the organization to ensure operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a solid background in internal control, audit, or risk management—preferably within the FMCG or Agro-Allied sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal control policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and identify control gaps across all business processes.
- Review financial transactions and operational activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Lead investigations of control breaches, irregularities, or non-compliance issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen process controls and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare and present internal control reports to management with recommendations for improvement.
- Support external and internal audit exercises, ensuring all findings are promptly addressed.
- Train staff on internal control processes and promote a strong culture of compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field with 3–5 years’ experience in internal control, audit, or risk management.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA (mandatory or strongly preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or Agro-Allied industry is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO, ICOFR).
- Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
