Job Summary
- Hilton Garden Hotel, Enugu is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee and optimize all hotel operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, improving profitability, and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- This role requires a dynamic leader with strong business acumen and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, and profitability
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures
- Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff to achieve high performance
- Establish and maintain exceptional guest service standards and handle escalated guest issues
- Coordinate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports for executive decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 1–3years of experience in hotel operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of improving operational performance and guest satisfaction
- Excellent financial management and analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
