Founded in 2016, Charryville Academy has raised the bar for Pre-school, Primary and Junior Secondary Education in Edo-State, taking into consideration the complete psychological needs of a child.

Using the British National Curriculum as a background, we infuse the Nigerian Curriculum so our kids can enjoy a well-rounded education. We have in place pertinent resources and facilities for making our set goals and objectives effective, efficient and successful. Starting with our comfy classrooms, Montessori didactics, teaching aids, STEM program, Coding program, Art, modern indoor and outdoor areas to our well qualified teachers who are passionate about bringing out the best in all our kids, parents can rest assured that their children are getting the best education. Job Title: Female Head of School

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with parents, regulatory bodies, and the community.
• Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Drive school growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure excellence in academic standards, student welfare, and staff performance.
• Oversee budgeting, resource management, and school operations.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations and accreditation standards.
• Develop and implement school policies and strategic plans.
• Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the school.

Educational Qualification / Experience

• TRCN registration is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Cambridge certification is an added advantage for schools offering the Cambridge curriculum.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.
• Good knowledge of the British, Nigerian, and/or Cambridge curriculum.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
