Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of a private household.
- The ideal candidate must be a skilled cook, exceptionally detail-oriented, and self-aware, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- This role requires someone who leads by example, maintains high standards, and takes full ownership of household operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all household activities to ensure efficiency and order
- Prepare high-quality meals consistently (local and continental dishes)
- Supervise and support domestic staff, ensuring duties are carried out to standard
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the home always
- Monitor household supplies and handle inventory, procurement, and restocking
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of household equipment and facilities
- Handle schedules, errands, and any assigned administrative household tasks
- Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a House Manager or in a similar senior domestic role
- Strong cooking skills (must be confident preparing a variety of meals)
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to actively participate in daily tasks
- High level of self-awareness, initiative, and accountability
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain discipline respectfully
- Good communication skills and a calm, problem-solving mindset
- Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable.
Preferred Qualities:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing household needs.
Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
