Job Summary


  • We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of a private household.
  • The ideal candidate must be a skilled cook, exceptionally detail-oriented, and self-aware, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism.
  • This role requires someone who leads by example, maintains high standards, and takes full ownership of household operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all household activities to ensure efficiency and order
  • Prepare high-quality meals consistently (local and continental dishes)
  • Supervise and support domestic staff, ensuring duties are carried out to standard
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the home always
  • Monitor household supplies and handle inventory, procurement, and restocking
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of household equipment and facilities
  • Handle schedules, errands, and any assigned administrative household tasks
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a House Manager or in a similar senior domestic role
  • Strong cooking skills (must be confident preparing a variety of meals)
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to actively participate in daily tasks
  • High level of self-awareness, initiative, and accountability
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain discipline respectfully
  • Good communication skills and a calm, problem-solving mindset
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and reliable.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing household needs.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
