Job Summary

• This role combines strategic business development with hands-on logistics coordination.
• We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager & Operations Manager to support the growth and operational efficiency of Abuja Precast Concrete Limited, a leading producer of Turkish-standard precast concrete products, including concrete blocks, paving stones, and kerb stones.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding customer base, and ensuring efficient logistics and delivery operations across project sites and customer locations.

Position Overview

• The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, optimize distribution efficiency, and support revenue growth through structured business expansion and reliable logistics execution.
• The role focuses on increasing market penetration for precast concrete products while ensuring seamless movement of finished goods from production facilities to customers.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development:

• Develop and execute growth strategies for precast concrete products including blocks, paving stones, and kerb stones
• Conduct market research to identify demand trends, competitor activities, and new growth opportunities
• Support pricing strategies and commercial negotiations to drive profitability and market share
• Represent the company in industry engagements, site visits, and client meetings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities with contractors, real estate developers, and infrastructure projects

Logistics & Operations Management:

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during loading, transportation, and offloading processes
• Plan and optimize transportation schedules to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries
• Coordinate delivery of precast concrete products from production facility to customer sites
• Supervise logistics partners, trucks, and dispatch operations for efficient distribution
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods to align production output with market demand
• Work closely with production teams to ensure order fulfillment and delivery readiness

Performance & Reporting:

• Recommend improvements to enhance distribution efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Track sales performance, delivery timelines, and logistics efficiency metrics
• Prepare operational and business development reports for management review

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate logistics operations
• Strong understanding of construction supply chains and building materials distribution
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production and field-based environment
• Excellent negotiation, planning, and organizational skills
• 4–8 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing within construction, manufacturing, or related industries
