Job Summary

• This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with proven experience in business development outside the HMO industry, who thrives in a target-driven environment and is passionate about achieving exceptional results.
• They are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, ambitious, and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth, expand market share, and acquire new corporate clients.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth through effective sales and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve the organization's revenue and growth objectives.
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate, SME, and group accounts.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide periodic reports on sales performance, business opportunities, market intelligence, and client engagement activities.
• Represent the organization at business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
• Collaborate with the underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and excellent client experience.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive business proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, insurance brokers, business partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to develop winning sales strategies.
• Negotiate business deals and successfully close new sales opportunities.
• Ensure excellent customer relationship management to improve client retention and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Candidates should preferably be between 28 and 32 years of age.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Corporate Marketing.
• Excellent networking, relationship management, and client engagement skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, resilient, and highly performance-driven.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasive selling skills.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
