Ibadan Business School (RC: 972642) was incorporated on the 17th day of August, 2011 under the Company and Allied Matters Act 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the primary objective of promoting the growth and advancement of business education within and outside Africa. The School is also licensed by the Centre for Management Development (CMD) of Nigeria- the operational arm of the Nigerian Council for Management Development (NCMD) which is the statutory body charged with the responsibility of regulating the standards of Training and Development Institutions in Nigeria.

Job Position: Training and Research Officer

Job Description

• The School of Enterprise Management, Ibadan Business School is seeking qualified and experienced Training and Research Officers to support the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of a nationwide online modular training programme.
• The role combines training delivery, curriculum support, and research/analytics functions to ensure programme effectiveness and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of training modules (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced)
• Facilitate or co-facilitate training sessions (online)
• Develop training materials (slides, manuals)
• Support participant engagement and learning experience
• Evaluate participant performance and provide feedback
• Design and implement research and monitoring frameworks
• Develop tools for data collection and evaluation
• Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments
• Contribute to continuous improvement of training content
• Document success stories and case studies
• Support stakeholder reporting and presentations
• Ensure data quality and programme accountability

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Enterprise Development, Statistics, Development Studies, Education, or related field
• Strong knowledge or experience in Enterprise Development, Entrepreneurship, or Business Management
• Desired Skills (Added Advantage)
• Experience in large-scale training programmes
• Knowledge of digital learning platforms (LMS)
• Experience in impact evaluation or development programmes
• Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
