Job Title: Software Engineer (Backend)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Promote software development best practices and conduct rigorous code reviews, data analysis, and troubleshooting
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology solutions that effectively tackle process improvement challenges.
- Work closely with the front-end and technical innovation team to establish technical and design objectives to enhance user experience.
- Continually improve server and server-side applications
- Design effective APIs for mobile and desktop solutions
- Take part in the training of internal and client product users, as applicable, on use of products
- Create and optimize systems, and play an active role in testing and troubleshooting activities
- Coordinate change order management process in liaison with the Technical Innovation Team and other relevant stakeholders
- Provide technical and professional advice for successful project delivery and system improvement programmes
- Maintain good working relationships with internal stakeholders and other relevant interested parties
- Carry out UI tests to optimize performance
- Control and ensure the development of web and mobile application projects implementation plans/schedules
- Creatively maintain and ensure system optimization and cloud distribution
- Ensure compliance with project quality assurance, codes, and standards governing each developmental project.
- Continually study industry trends to create and improve business processes and codes for better programme designs.
- All other assigned functions by the Managing Partner/Technical Innovation Manager.
