Senior Security Engineer

• Lead improvements in detection and response; optimize monitoring, alerts, and incident response.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; set high security standards.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call; respond to incidents and coordinate resolutions.
• Provide white-glove service; ensure incidents are managed thoroughly and professionally.
• Define and implement security practices aligned with organisational goals and standards.
• Take ownership of security projects; prioritise tasks and align with team objectives.

???? Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/InfoSec or equivalent security experience.
• 5+ years in security engineering/operations; blue team and DevOps.
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in AWS security best practices.
• Experience with security technologies: IDS, DLP, FIM, firewalls, SIEM, MFA, vulnerability tools, web proxies, and WAFs.
• OS, networking, and application hardening for Windows, macOS, and Linux, including virtualization security.
