Job Title: Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Lead

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven QA/QC Lead with a strong background in Mechanical Engineering to take full ownership of quality assurance and control across our engineering projects.
• This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works, materials, and processes meet required technical standards, specifications, and client expectations.
• The ideal candidate must be meticulous, firm, and confident, with the ability to enforce quality standards, lead QA/QC activities, and prevent costly errors before they occur.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and enforcement of QA/QC systems, procedures, and standards across all projects.
• Supervise and guide QA/QC personnel, site engineers, and project teams on quality requirements.
• Ensure all project activities comply with approved quality plans and industry standards.
• Lead quality audits, site inspections, and project quality reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain quality expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct and oversee inspections of mechanical works, materials, and installations.
• Review and approve inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records.
• Interpret and validate engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Identify non-conformities, lead root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred).
• Candidates from other engineering disciplines must demonstrate extensive QA/QC experience in mechanical engineering projects.
• 5 years relevant QA/QC experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, installation, and inspection processes.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
