Job Title: Professional Accountant

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, efficiency, and cost management.
• Process payroll and oversee financial transactions with accuracy.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company financial policies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting principles.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Accountant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems).
