• Monitor and operate CommonLit's AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with CTO to optimize infrastructure and app environment
• Develop and improve developer tooling for engineers
• Unblock engineers by addressing tooling issues
• Assist Data Science with ETL pipelines to improve reliability
• Lead infrastructure security and compliance efforts

???? Requirements

• 3+ years operating production apps at AWS scale
• Experience in software development with Ruby on Rails
• Strong knowledge of VPC, IAM, S3, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation
• Experience operating and troubleshooting PostgreSQL databases
• Desire to make infrastructure and tooling accessible to other engineers
• Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and collaboration skills
