Job Title: Plant Utility Coordinator

Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Electrical & Instrument Engineer to join our manufacturing facility at the Lekki Free Trade Zone.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial electrical systems, motor control, and instrumentation, with proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial instruments and transmitters (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level, and Weight).
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including power distribution panels, MCCs (Motor Control Centres), and control panels.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Ensure proper cable selection, routing, termination, and gland installation in accordance with standards.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and plant safety policies.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous and efficient plant operations.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electric motors and motor control systems, including:
- Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters
- Star-Delta starters
- Soft starters
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Diagnose and resolve faults in low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process-plant environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to Ibeju-Lekki.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor control, and instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience with MCCs, protection systems, and fault diagnosis.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
