Job Summary
- We are seeking a qualified Operations Engineer to support project execution, engineering, pipeline inspection,procurement, maintenance, and field operations across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning and execution, including Project Execution Plans, work plans, Method Statements, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate field personnel, contractors, equipment, materials, and logistics.
- Support pipeline, asset, equipment, and facility inspection activities.
- Operate and coordinate the use of engineering measurement and inspection instruments.
- Apply working knowledge of NDT/NDE techniques, including UT/UTM, VT, MT, PT, and RT.
- Identify basic integrity threats such as corrosion, erosion, cracking, coating deterioration, and mechanical damage.
- Support equipment maintenance, failure investigations, and root-cause analysis.
- Monitor equipment condition indicators and escalate significant anomalies.
- Support magnetometry and geophysical measurement activities where required.
- Prepare technical, inspection, and operational reports.
- Support HSE, QA/QC, QMS, Permit-to-Work, inspection, and audit requirements.
- Support technical evaluation of suppliers and contractors and monitor contractor performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in field engineering, inspection, maintenance, EPC, energy services, or related technical operations.
- Practical experience using measurement, survey, or inspection instruments.
- Ability to interpret technical information and prepare structured technical reports.
- Good understanding of HSE, QA/QC, and project execution requirements.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project and field locations.
- Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:
- Pipeline inspection and integrity | NDT/NDE | Equipment and machinery inspection | Facility maintenance | QA/QC and ISO 9001/QMS | HSE and risk assessment | Magnetometry and geophysical measurement | Contractor coordination | EPC/project execution | CMMS/maintenance management systems.
