Elela-Care Humanitarian and Development Organization (ECM) is a youth-led, non-governmental organization dully registered with Nigerian government through Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT NO: 182167). Existing since June 2022, ECM focuses on improving the quality of life of vulnerable population across communities in North East Nigeria. ECM operates both in emergency and developmental context and have its programme principally rooted in identifying gaps that affects population or increases vulnerability of population and bridging those gaps through resource base planning and implementation.

Job Overview

• The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Elela Care Humanitarian and Development Organization (ECM), assets, staff, and visitors.
• This role involves regular patrolling, controlling access points, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• A Security Guard patrols premises, prevents unauthorized access, responds to emergencies, and enforces safety regulations to protect people and property.
• The role requires physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / NCE / OND with relevant experiences.
• SSCE qualificationor equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Security Guard is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
