Job Title: Medical Record Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all medical records are protected and kept confidential
- Manage phone calls, enquiries, and patient follow-ups.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Welcome and direct patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a good National Diploma in Medical Records Technician with at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience and should be fully registered with the Institute of Medical Record Technicians of Nigeria.
- 1 - 5 years of experience is required.
- Valid practicing license from the relevant body is mandatory.
- Must be Computer Literate.
- Candidate must possess an HND/B.Sc qualification in Medical Records from a recognized institution.
Competency and Technical Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Time management.
- Working knowledge of Google Docs, Excellent customer relationship skills, Computer proficiency
- Organizational skills
