Manager, Business Controller

???? Description

• Review new products and assess financial impact (accounting, tax, risk, ops).
• Document flow of funds and coordinate Finance/IT to ensure data flows front-to-back.
• Build trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering, Design to align on roadmaps for Finance.
• Scope, design, and implement controls to address key risks and ensure financial control effectiveness.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects supporting Finance growth and Coinbase.

???? Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and CPA Certification required
• 8+ years in financial audit/attestation or technical accounting, preferably Big Four or public company.
• Experience with derivatives and financing product operations and/or risk management in a large bank or broker/dealer.
• Highly motivated with strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to partner with business/tech leaders to solve complex accounting issues and explain them clearly.
• Comfortable in a hyper-growth environment, taking initiative and delivering quickly.
