Job Summary

  • The role involves developing and executing business growth strategies, leading the business development team, managing key client relationships, monitoring industry trends, and collaborating with technical and operational teams to deliver commercially viable solutions.
  • The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving the organization's revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, securing high-value contracts, and expanding the company's market presence within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by achieving revenue targets and managing the business development pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop commercially viable solutions for clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Business Development team, setting performance targets and ensuring continuous development.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify emerging business opportunities within the energy sector.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and high-value contracts.
  • Monitor business performance, prepare management reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead the preparation, submission, and negotiation of bids, tenders, and commercial proposals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.
