Job Position: General Manager (Business Operations & Commercial Leadership)

Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The General Manager will provide overall leadership and direction across all business functions, including operations, production, finance, sales & marketing, procurement, HR, and administration.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support the CEO in executing the company’s strategic vision
  • Drive organisational transformation and process optimisation
  • Establish strong performance management systems
  • Oversee production, operations, and supply chain functions
  • Improve efficiency, cost management, and resource utilisation
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
  • Lead and mentor department heads across all functions
  • Manage relationships with clients, vendors, regulators, and partners.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of senior leadership experience (preferably in Manufacturing, FMCG, Industrial, or Financial Services Support)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • MBA or relevant professional certification (an added advantage)
  • Proven experience managing multi-functional business operations
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to scale or restructure businesses
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
