Ecofitness is a fast-growing fitness centre established in 2021 with branch networks in the two major cities in Nigeria; Abuja and Lagos, with a vision to extend her tentacles across the 36 states of the federation and the world at large.

We offer bespoke services developed to meet your needs with close supervision and training by our best-in-class, hand-picked and experienced fitness Trainers. With the host of our other fun and engaging fitness programs such as; Football, Lawn tennis and Basketball, We have our Trainers anchor over 16 different fitness classes per week. These include, but are not limited to; AEROBICS, HIIT, CARDIO, YOGA, DANCE etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Front Desk Officer

Location: Lokogoma, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Customer service & Communication:

  • Attend to all calls, messages, and direct messages in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Welcome customers and check in members professionally.
  • Gather customer feedback and escalate concerns to line manager.
  • Explain gym packages to new members and assist them in becoming familiar with the facility.
  • Promote ongoing programs, classes, and special offers to members.
  • Upsell memberships, personal training packages, and wellness product

Membership & Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate membership records and process fees as directed by Management.
  • Process card/ transfer payments for gym/facility services rendered.
  • Ensure up to date records with client and non entry for expired memberships
  • Update member records with new contact information and payment details.

Access Control & Security:

  • Ensure accurate and adequate access control for all members and visitors.
  • Act as the “eyes and ears” of the facility by reporting suspicious activities or safety concerns promptly

Administrative & Clerical Duties:

  • Handle general front desk operations including sorting incoming mail, filing, data entry, and dispatching packages.
  • Manage supply inventory and monitor facility equipment needs.
  • Ensure proper organization of front office operations and maintain tidy, clean common areas.

Marketing Support & Social -Media:

  • Collaborate with trainers and management to highlight success stories on social media.
  • Create engaging content and manage the facility’s social media platforms to promote services and events.
  • Support promotional campaigns and community outreach initiatives.

Health and Safety:

  • Enforce gym safety rules and ensure members use equipment responsibly.
  • Monitor compliance with hygiene standards (sanitizing equipment, enforcing mask or cleanliness policies if applicable).
  • Support emergency procedures, including first aid response and evacuation protocols.
  • Ensure that front desk is tidy at all times.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in staff training sessions to stay updated on customer service, safety, and fitness trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of gym services, schedules, and promotions to answer member inquiries effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Customer Service or any related
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in customer-facing role (fitness /hospitality industry a plus).
