• Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of a multi-location agricultural and palm oil processing business. The role requires a highly analytical and disciplined finance professional with strong experience in financial management, budgeting, cost control, reporting, and operational finance within agriculture, manufacturing, or production environments.

• The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 7- 10 years’ hands-on experience in large-scale farming . The role is highly strategic and requires a strong leader capable of managing people, resources, and stakeholders while driving operational efficiency and business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Analyze operational costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, operational expenses, and profitability.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for farm and processing operations.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

• Conduct variance analysis and provide corrective recommendations.
• Ensure effective budget utilization and financial discipline.
• Monitor production and operational costs across plantation and processing sites.
• Track procurement expenses, staff costs, logistics, and production expenditures.

Accounting & Compliance:

• Supervise bookkeeping, payroll, bank reconciliations, and statutory remittances.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and company procedures.
• Ensure proper accounting records and documentation are maintained.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory financial reporting.

Operational Finance Coordination:

• Provide financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.?
• Supervise junior finance and administrative personnel at site locations.
• Work closely with plantation managers, production teams, and site supervisors on operational finance matters.
• Ensure proper controls for inventory, procurement, and asset management.
• Monitor financial activities across all operational locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or production industries is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management.
• 7–10 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, is an added advantage.
