Description

• Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow your career in a fast-paced hospitality environment?
• Our hotel is looking for a dedicated Accounting Officer to manage our daily financial operations and ensure fiscal accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Revenue Management: Reconcile daily front-desk sales, bar/restaurant receipts, and room occupancy reports.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable and receivable.
• Audit & Compliance: Conduct periodic internal audits of inventory and petty cash.
• Payroll: Assist in the processing of staff salaries and statutory remittances (tax, pension, etc.).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Hotel Management Systems).
• Attributes: High level of integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Location: Candidates must reside in Sapele or be willing to relocate.
