We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Control Executive

Location: Vom, Plateau
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and effective credit control across sales operations.
  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Control Executive to support daily finance control activities, including sales reconciliation, bank and cash controls, receivables monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Sales Reconciliation:

  • Support real-time posting of sales transactions
  • Assist in reconciling daily cash and credit sales
  • Review and follow up on Business Development Executives’ (BDEs) daily account balances

Bank & Cash Reconciliation:

  • Support cheque lodgments and monitoring of bank deposits
  • Participate in monthly reconciliation of depot float and bank accounts
  • Assist in verifying payment accuracy and completeness

Receivables & Credit Control:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate receivables and customer ledgers
  • Support monitoring of customer credit limits and outstanding balances
  • Ensure proper documentation and GL postings

Credit Customer Support:

  • Follow up on overdue invoices and pending payments
  • Assist in compiling data for monthly credit customer reviews

Reporting:

  • Support generation of weekly BDE open invoice and outstanding reports
  • Track and reconcile key accountinvoices
  • Assist in preparing daily sales reconciliation reports

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain proper documentation for audit and control purposes
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures
  • Check and file supporting documents for sales and payments

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work under supervision
  • High attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
  • 2–5 years experience in accounting, finance, or audit role

Added Advantage:

  • ICAN/ACCA (in view or interest).
  • FMCG or distribution experience
