South Atlantic LNG West Africa Limited (SLNG) is an indigenous Nigerian oil and gas company developing a 20MMscf LNG facility, commencing with Phase 1 (5MMscf).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Assistant to MD/CEO

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Managing Director.

Role Summary

  • The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Managing Director (MD) provides high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support to ensure the efficient running of the MD’s office and the smooth coordination of company activities.
  • The role requires exceptional organisational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced energy and infrastructure environment.

Key Responsibilities
Executive & Administrative Support:

  • Draft and prepare professional correspondence, presentations, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain the MD’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules.
  • Screen and prioritise incoming communications (emails, calls, correspondence).
  • Organise travel arrangements, accommodation, visas, and itineraries.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.

Strategic & Business Support:

  • Conduct research and compile data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor progress of key projects and follow up with internal teams.
  • Support preparation of board papers, management reports, and investor materials.
  • Assist the MD in tracking key business initiatives, projects, and deadlines.

Stakeholder & Office Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintain organised filing systems (digital and physical).
  • Coordinate communications with partners, regulators, investors, and consultants.
  • Support the planning and execution of executive meetings and events.

Confidentiality & Governance:

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, governance, and documentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience supporting senior executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, oil & gas, or engineering environments is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong research and presentation preparation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary
N200,000 – N230,000 per month.
