We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Technician, Northern Nigeria

Location: Kano

Purpose

• The Electrical Technician will support operational efficiency and business objectives by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the factory and office facilities.

The Job

• Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
• Diagnose electrical faults, determine root causes of breakdowns, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Identify electrical equipment or installations that may pose safety risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
• Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and maintenance requirements.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and machinery within the factory and office environment.

?Qualification?s

• 5 O-Level credits, including Mathematics and English/ NABTEB, or Trade Test Grade.
• NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Experience working with automated production lines will be an added advantage.

The Person Must:

• Possess strong electrical troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Have a sound understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and electrical installations.
