Economics & Business Studies Teacher

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Plan engaging lessons and prepare effective learning materials.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of IGCSE and Wace curriculum content in the assigned subject area.
• Monitor students progress and provide regular feedback.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Implement academic policies and the subject curriculum to ensure students receive the highest standards of education.
• Provide regular feedback to students on their performance and areas for improvement.
• Assign regular classwork, homework, and assessments to evaluate students understanding.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Teach students using a variety of effective instructional strategies to promote active learning.
• Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the IGCSE and Waec curriculum.

Requirements

• Teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE, TRCN. or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience teaching IGCSE and WAEC
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education in the relevant subject area.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
