Job Title: Creative Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
About the Role
- We are seeking a talented and innovative Creative Officer with strong expertise in content creation, digital design, and marketing.
- The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with hands?on experience developing engaging visual content, managing brand presence across digital platforms, and supporting marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop high?quality multimedia content (graphics, videos, animations, copywriting) for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling storytelling concepts for brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all creative assets.
Creative Strategy & Collaboration:
- Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas for campaigns, product launches, and corporate initiatives.
- Work closely with marketing, communications, and business teams to align creative work with company goals.
- Stay updated on design trends, digital media innovations, and industry best practices.
Digital Design:
- Produce visually appealing designs for digital and print materials (flyers, banners, ads, brochures, email layouts, etc.).
- Maintain consistent brand identity across all creative outputs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate ideas into clear, attractive visual concepts.
Digital Marketing:
- Support social media strategy and execution across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
- Create digital ads and assist in running online campaigns.
- Track performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize engagement.
- Assist in planning and executing brand, product, and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Experience & Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience as a Creative Officer, Content Creator, Digital Designer, or similar role.
- Ability to create engaging graphics, short videos, and marketing materials.
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, and other creative suites.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, digital marketing, and content strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
- Certifications in digital marketing, design, or content creation are an added advantage.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work is required.
