Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer proficiency in PHP Laravel, with some experience in DevOps, to join our dynamic team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend services, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that align with our project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Laravel
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration with various identity management systems.
System Integration:
- Work closely with other technology providers to integrate biometric and identity verification technologies into our platform.
- Ensure seamless integration and upscaling of the existing NIMC identity system.
Data Security & Efficiency:
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent data leaks.
- Optimize backend systems for maximum efficiency and reliability.
DevOps:
- Assist in managing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the infrastructure to maintain system health and performance.
Documentation & Best Practices:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the backend codebase, APIs, and system architecture.
- Adhere to industry best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP Laravel
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
Experience:
- 5 years of proven experience as a backend developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Experience in identity management systems and biometric technologies is a plus.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is desirable.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
