Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will support the organization in ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements while improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct internal audits across departments to assess compliance with company policies and procedures
- Review financial records, transactions, and processes to identify risks, errors, or irregularities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements
- Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to management
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
- Support external audits and regulatory reviews when required
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of relevant audit or accounting experience
- Knowledge of auditing standards, internal control systems, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit software
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or in view) is an added advantage
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
