Job Title: Account Manager (Client Acquisition & Growth)

About the Role

  • This is not an accounting role.
  • You will be responsible for bringing businesses on board, ensuring they actively use the platform, and growing their value over time. If you love building relationships, closing deals, and earning based on performance, this role is for you.
  • This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role, perfect for someone with the energy of a marketer, the structure of a sales professional, and the relationship-building skills of an account executive.
  • Paycita is hiring an Account Manager to lead the acquisition, onboarding, and growth of new clients onto the Paycita platform.

What You Will Do
Client Acquisition (Marketing-Driven):

  • Negotiate and close subscription agreements.
  • Conduct product demos and pitch sessions.
  • Run digital and in-person outreach campaigns.
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients to Paycita.

Account Management & Retention:

  • Prevent churn by proactively engaging at-risk accounts.
  • Manage assigned client accounts and ensure consistent platform usage.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Monitor client engagement and subscription activity.

Client Growth:

  • Educate clients on new features and best practices.
  • Continuously optimize client experience and satisfaction.
  • Drive upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.

Reporting & Performance:

  • Submit weekly client acquisition and engagement reports.
  • Track personal KPIs across acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Participate actively in weekly performance reviews.

Who You Should Be

  • Fintech, SaaS, or digital service experience is an advantage.
  • OND / HND / BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or account management.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident.
  • Skilled in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace.
