Role Description
- This is an on-site, full-time role based in Nigeria for a Well Engineer.
- The Well Engineer will be responsible for designing wells, preparing drilling programs, overseeing well construction activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.
- Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical studies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing on-site support during drilling operations, and optimizing well performance.
- The role also involves regularly reviewing processes to improve efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
Qualifications
- 8-10 Years of Experience in Well Design, Drilling Operations, and Well Construction
- Competence in Technical Assurance and Compliance with Safety Standards
- Proficiency in using Software Tools for Well Simulation and Analysis
- Strong Problem-Solving, Communication, and Project Management Skills
- Understanding of Oil and Gas Industry Standards and Environmental Regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is required
- Relevant certifications in drilling or well engineering would be an advantage
