Job summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Transfer Pricing team.
  • This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and gain exposure to complex international tax issues.
  • The ideal candidate should have a hands-on experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation, conducting benchmarking studies, completing transfer pricing returns and supporting with advisory and controversy projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports, including Master Files, Local Files, and review of Country-by-Country Reports in compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
  • Conduct economic and functional analyses to support transfer pricing positions.
  • Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and strategies for clients.
  • Assist with the accurate filing of transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting related obligations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Mentor graduate trainees and interns and support knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, legal, and finance to ensure alignment on transfer pricing matters.
  • Perform benchmarking and comparability studies using databases and other research tools.
  • Keep abreast of changes in transfer pricing regulations, tax laws and industry best practices.
  • Assist in managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics or Law or a related field with a minimum of second class (upper division) or its equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transfer pricing.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
