Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer – Product Quality

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Description

Are you passionate about product quality, testing, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer – Product Quality to join a leading automotive team and play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of vehicles and components.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
Conduct customer complaint simulations and support root cause analysis.
Monitor test equipment, rig utilization, safety, and 5S compliance.
Plan and execute testing for vehicles, engines, subsystems, and components.
Develop and improve testing standards based on customer usage and market feedback.

Requirements

Graduate Engineer Trainees (Mechanical) with relevant exposure are also encouraged to apply.
Exposure to EMS calibration or HIL testing is a plus.
Experience in vehicle, engine, or mechanical testing laboratories.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of data loggers and vehicle instrumentation is an advantage.
3–5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or R&D within a 2W, 3W, or 4W OEM or Tier 1 automotive company.
