Production Head

Responsibilities
PET Production Operations Management:

• Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
• Manage and supervise PET perform injection molding and blow molding production activities.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and production resources.
• Monitor machine performance, line efficiency, rejection rates, and production wastage.
• Coordinate production schedules and mold change activities.
• Monitor production processes to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.

Equipment & Utilities Management:

• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for PET production machinery and molds.
• Ensure equipment reliability and operational uptime.
• Monitor utilities including compressors, chillers, dryers, and air systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new production equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams on machine improvement initiatives.
• Ensure prompt troubleshooting and resolution of machine breakdowns.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure proper housekeeping and hygiene standards within production areas.
• Support quality audits and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor rejection levels and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality checks during production operations.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing SOPs and operational standards.
• Ensure PET products meet required quality standards and specifications.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:

• Conduct safety inspections and enforce PPE usage.
• Ensure safe operation of production machinery and utilities.
• Ensure compliance with all factory safety policies and procedures.
• Investigate production incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and operational discipline.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management:

• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching for improvement.
• Ensure staff discipline, punctuality, and productivity.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Conduct technical training and competency development initiatives.
• Lead and supervise production engineers, operators, and technicians.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze operational data to identify production improvement opportunities.
• Drive cost reduction and process optimization initiatives.
• Implement lean manufacturing and operational excellence practices.
• Prepare production efficiency, downtime, and wastage reports.
• Recommend process improvements to improve productivity and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong expertise in injection and blow molding processes.
• Experience working with PET production machinery and utilities.
• Proficiency in production reporting and operational analysis.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process controls and troubleshooting.
• 7–10 years of experience in PET manufacturing operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or production management role.
