We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Excellence Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Purpose

To drive operational excellence within the plant/mills by ensuring equipment and machines are optimally utilized while improving quality, safety and the bottom line.

The Job

Collect and Analyse performance metrics data
Drive Daily Operational Reviews With the support of the Mill leadership team
Ensure Process Improvement activities are sustained, and standards adhered to
Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for Headhouse
Audit shop floor on 5S.
Facilitate Weekly Technical Performance Review for East & West Mills
Lead Root Cause Analysis within Plant/Mill.
Transfer OpEx competencies to Mill leadership and team members
Drive implementation of Continuous Process Improvement activities using Lean Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

B.Sc. in Science related course or Engineering.
Certification in Six Sigma Black Belt or Organizational Excellence.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.

The Person Must:

Reduce equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Organizational and multi-tasking skills with solid attention to detail.
Have solid knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
