Shulifang Biotechnology is a fast growing company situated in the Lekki free zone Lagos state. we are into the production of FMCG products such as Detergent, liquid soap, edible oil, PET bottles, face powder, perfumes, etc.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Merchandizer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
Product Display & Visibility:
- Ensure products are properly arranged on shelves and displays
- Set up promotional stands, banners, and point-of-sale materials
- Follow company planograms and display standards
- Make sure products are placed in visible, high-traffic positions
Stock Management:
- Check stock levels in stores regularly
- Ensure shelves are always filled (avoid out-of-stock situations)
- Rotate products using FIFO (First In, First Out) method
- Remove expired, damaged, or leaking products from shelves
Price & Promotion Monitoring
- Confirm products carry correct price tags
- Ensure promotional prices and discounts are correctly displayed
- Report price differences or market issues to management
- Monitor competitors’ prices and promotions
Reporting Duties:
- Send daily or weekly merchandising reports
- Take shelf photos as proof of execution (common requirement)
- Report stock shortages, customer feedback, and competitor activity
- Track product performance in each outlet
Relationship Management:
- Maintain good relationships with store managers and attendants
- Ensure company products are not hidden or replaced by competitors
- Represent the company professionally in all outlets
- Negotiate for better shelf space or product positioning
Market Support Responsibilities:
- Assist sales team in pushing slow-moving products
- Support promotional campaigns and in-store activations
- Provide market feedback to improve sales strategy.
- Help introduce new products into stores
Salary
N150,000 per month.
