Job Title: Maintainance Supervisor

Job Summary
- The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities in SNG operations.
- The role oversees preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company
- procedures, industry standards, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership:
- Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
- Assign daily work activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure effective manpower utilization
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training for maintenance personnel
- Ensure workforce competency, certifications, and compliance with authorization requirements
Planning & Coordination:
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and planning teams to schedule maintenance activities
- Review fault notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, job hazard analyses (JHA), and work method statements
- Support spare parts management and ensure availability of critical materials
- Assist in backlog management and maintenance planning
Maintenance Operations:
- Oversee execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Monitor equipment condition, reliability, and availability to minimize downtime
- Supervise maintenance of rotating equipment, static equipment, utilities, and support systems
- Support commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and turnaround activities
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, LOTO procedures, and confined space regulations
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Review and approve maintenance reports and records
- Track maintenance KPIs, equipment failures, and corrective actions
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and maintenance effectiveness
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and company procedures
- Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline
- Must have 5-8 years of maintenance experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial facilities
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability principles
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of safety awareness and risk management
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Working Conditions:
- May require shift work, on-call duty, and emergency response
- Work may be in remote locations
- Exposure to hazardous environments requiring strict safety compliance
