The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore/Marine Supplies etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintainance Supervisor

Location: Ogun

Job Summary

  • The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities in SNG operations.
  • The role oversees preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with company
  • procedures, industry standards, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership:

  • Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines
  • Assign daily work activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure effective manpower utilization
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training for maintenance personnel
  • Ensure workforce competency, certifications, and compliance with authorization requirements

Planning & Coordination:

  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and planning teams to schedule maintenance activities
  • Review fault notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, job hazard analyses (JHA), and work method statements
  • Support spare parts management and ensure availability of critical materials
  • Assist in backlog management and maintenance planning

Maintenance Operations:

  • Oversee execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
  • Monitor equipment condition, reliability, and availability to minimize downtime
  • Supervise maintenance of rotating equipment, static equipment, utilities, and support systems
  • Support commissioning, start-up, shutdown, and turnaround activities

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, LOTO procedures, and confined space regulations
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Review and approve maintenance reports and records
  • Track maintenance KPIs, equipment failures, and corrective actions
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance reliability and maintenance effectiveness
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and company procedures
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations

Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline
  • Must have 5-8 years of maintenance experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial facilities

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies and reliability principles
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of safety awareness and risk management
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
  • Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions:

  • May require shift work, on-call duty, and emergency response
  • Work may be in remote locations
  • Exposure to hazardous environments requiring strict safety compliance
