Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Laravel)
Location: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Role Overview
- The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications and platforms that power OneVERIFY’s digital identity, verification, AML/KYC, fraud prevention, and compliance solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a deep understanding of secure architecture, API integrations, database management, and cloud deployment in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications (front-end and back-end).
- Develop reusable components and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance web platforms.
Backend & API Development:
- Develop and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate third-party services such as Identity verification providers, AML/KYC databases, Payment gateways, and government data systems.
- Ensure secure data exchange and encryption protocols.
- Implement authentication and authorization systems (OAuth, JWT, RBAC).
Frontend Development:
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Implement intuitive dashboards for identity verification, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to enhance product usability.
Database & Infrastructure:
- Design and manage relational and non-relational databases.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.
- Implement caching mechanisms and performance monitoring tools.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Security & Compliance:
- Implement best practices in cybersecurity and secure coding.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and address security gaps.
- Maintain audit logs and compliance records.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., NDPR, GDPR, where applicable).
Collaboration & Agile Development:
- Work closely with product managers, DevOps engineers, compliance teams, and other developers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for product development.
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development (preferably in fintech, RegTech, or cybersecurity).
Strong proficiency in:
- Frontend & Backend: Laravel (PHP)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital identity or verification systems.
- Understanding of AI-driven fraud detection systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and secure coding standards.
- Prior experience working with government or regulated sectors.
- Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance systems.
- Experience working with blockchain-based applications.
