We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Farm Officer

Job Location: Ogere, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all daily farm operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency
• Supervise and manage a workforce of over 200 staff, ensuring tasks are properly assigned and executed
• Enforce strict compliance with biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks
• Implement and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on production, mortality, feed usage, medication, and staff activities
• Manage and analyze farm data to support decision-making and improve productivity
• Monitor animal health and coordinate with veterinarians for preventive and corrective actions
• Ensure proper sanitation, hygiene, and waste management practices are maintained at all times
• Oversee inventory management of feed, drugs, and other farm supplies
• Ensure farm equipment is properly maintained and utilized efficiently
• Train, guide, and discipline staff to ensure high performance and compliance with farm standards
• Prepare regular reports for management on farm performance and operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agirc) Degree with 2-5 years of experience.
