Job Title: Brand and Marketing Manager

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Job Summary

  • They areseeking an experienced and result-driven Brand & Marketing Manager to lead brand growth, product positioning, and strategic marketing initiatives across its product portfolio.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong pharmaceutical marketing knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive market penetration while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer insights, competitor activities, and growth opportunities
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and internal compliance policies
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as sales performance, ROI, market share, and brand awareness
  • Oversee the development of promotional and marketing materials in line with regulatory and ethical standards
  • Prepare marketing reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for senior management
  • Monitor product and campaign performance, adjusting strategies to achieve sales and market share targets
  • Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Production, and Sales teams to support business growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), distributors, and strategic partners
  • Define brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions for assigned products
  • Coordinate activities with external agencies including advertising, PR, branding, and market research firms
  • Collaborate with sales teams and medical representatives to ensure consistent brand messaging and market execution
  • Coordinate product launches and go-to-market execution plans
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with company business objectives
  • Manage the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical and healthcare products, including launch, growth, and market expansion
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, field, and traditional marketing channels

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in managing product campaigns, launches, and brand growth initiatives
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing principles and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • 3 - 6 years proven experience in Brand Management, Product Management, or Marketing within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
