Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) is a regulatory agency under the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security with the mandate to prevent the introduction, establishment and spread of exotic pests, diseases and contaminants of plants, animals and aquatic resources and their products, from entry or exit and thereby safeguarding the Nigerian Agricultural economy and facilitating international trade.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for full time appointment in the capacity below:

Requirements

Applicants must possess minimum of First Degree from a recognized institution of higher learning and NYSC Discharge / Exemption Certificate.

Statutory Requirements
Applicants must:

Be free from financial embarrassment.
Be required to pass drug test.
Present certificate of medical fitness from a govemment hospital.
Have chest measurement of not less than 0.87m for men.
Any certificate or qualification not declared and accepted at recruitment centre shall not be accepted after recruitments.
Be computer literate.
Have height not less than 155m for females and 1.65m for males.
Be medically fit.
Have National Identity Number.
Be of good character and must not have been convicted of a criminal offence and must not be a member of a secret society/cult.
