Job Summary
- The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving vehicle sales, expanding dealership and fleet accounts, strengthening the company’s presence in the Nigerian automobile market.
- The role involves managing sales teams, executing effective marketing strategies, and developing strong relationships with individual, corporate, government, and fleet customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Has strong social media marketing experience.
- Manage retail, corporate, fleet, and government sales channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, individuals, and government agencies.
- Negotiate pricing, trade-in deals, and payment terms in line with company policies.
- Monitor vehicle stock levels and coordinate with operations for timely delivery.
Marketing:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for new and used vehicles
- Oversee digital marketing, social media promotions, and online auto listings
- Develop partnerships with banks, insurance companies, and finance houses for vehicle financing
- Strengthen brand visibility through advertising, promotions, and strategic collaborations
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Conduct market research on pricing, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Track industry trends such as vehicle financing, import duties, exchange rates, and fuel trends
- Provide strategic recommendations on pricing, promotions, and product mix
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
Customer Experience & After-Sales Support:
- Ensure excellent customer experience from inquiry to vehicle delivery
- Work with after-sales and service teams to improve customer retention
- Handle key customer escalations and resolve complaints professionally
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate sales records, CRM data, and reporting
- Submit weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in automobile sales and marketing.
- Proven track record of achieving vehicle sales targets in Nigeria.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian automobile market and customer behavior.
- Experience working with dealerships, fleet sales, and vehicle financing.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Deep understanding of vehicle pricing, financing, and trade-in processes
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet aggressive sales targets.
