Job Title: HR Coordinator - Culture & Performance
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Description
- The HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in building and sustaining company culture, strengthening employee engagement, and driving a structured performance management framework that aligns with operational objectives.
Responsibilities
Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives that strengthen company culture across MRO, FBO, and
- Support functions.
- Drive employee engagement programs and monitor morale trends.
- Support leadership in embedding organizational values and behavioral standards.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs (e.g., performance awards, service milestones).
- Partner with managers to address engagement gaps and retention risks.
Talent Development & Recognition:
- Support learning and development initiatives.
- Identify high-potential employees and succession planning opportunities.
- Coordinate structured recognition and reward frameworks tied to performance.
HR Operations Support:
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Support HR reporting and analytics.
- Assist in workforce planning initiatives.
Performance Management:
- Administer and enhance the company’s performance appraisal system.
- Support goal-setting alignment (KPIs/OKRs) across departments.
- Track performance outcomes and identify development needs.
- Ensure timely completion of appraisal cycles.
- Provide coaching to managers on conducting structured performance reviews.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Manage employee disciplinary processes in line with company policy and Nigerian Labour
- Law.
- Support investigations and documentation.
- Promote fairness, consistency, and procedural integrity.
- Maintain HR documentation and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–6 years’ progressive HR experience.
- Experience in aviation, engineering, or structured operational environments is an advantage.
- Professional HR certification is desirable.
