Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives focused on driving growth through outreach to high quality leads
  • Own your team quota, metrics and performance optimizing for sales funnel conversion, speed to lead and pipeline management
  • Analyze reporting to uncover insights that will drive team performance optimization
  • Review calls and coach individual team members on their sales skills and workflows.
  • Share best practices across the team to foster collaboration and a supportive work environment
  • Advocate for the client and BDR experience by uncovering challenges and solutioning in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Marketing and Sales
  • Work closely with Product and Marketing teams on “playtests” to uncover new learnings and channels for growth

Job Requirements

  • People Management – experience leading and driving results through B2B or B2C sales teams
  • Technology – comfortable leveraging Salesforce and Salesloft tooling
  • Resourcefulness – demonstrated track record of persevering in the face of adversity
  • Flexibility – in a startup, priorities and direction can evolve quickly. You should have a positive can-do attitude and be adaptable to evolving business goals
  • Goal-oriented – you should have experience (and be excited about!) working hard towards a goal
  • Strong communication – you should be comfortable writing persuasively and communicating at all levels
  • Self-starter – when you see a need, you address it
  • Client-focused – put the client at the centre of everything you do
