1.) Pre-sales Engineer

Job Description


  • Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate would be joining a dynamic engineering and systems integrator firm with a focus on providing integrated renewable energy solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the success of sales efforts by providing technical expertise and solutions to prospective clients.
  • You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, present product demonstrations, and assist in designing tailored solutions that address clients' specific needs.
  • This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of products and services, staying uptodate with the latest industry trends and technology advancements.
  • PreSales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and objectives, and assist in crafting compelling solutions that align with those goals.
  • Bid Defense: Defend the technical aspects of bidding jobs, ensuring that solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Technical Quotation: Prepare technical quotations that accurately reflect the scope of work, materials, and resources required for each project.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Tender Identification: Research and identify tender opportunities in newspapers and other sources across the country, capturing all potential projects.
  • Technical Proposal Development: Develop comprehensive technical proposals, collaborating closely with the sales director to align technical solutions with client needs.
  • Communication: Serve as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, effectively communicating technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • AutoCAD/Visio: Utilise AutoCAD or Visio to create technical drawings and diagrams as needed for proposals and documentation.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure that all proposed solutions adhere to health and safety regulations, providing input and guidance on safety aspects.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, sharing insights, and contributing to the success of the sales department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar technical presales role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in engineering
  • Ability to defend the technical aspects of bidding jobs.
  • Proficiency in technical quotation and documentation.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
  • Excellent proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in researching and identifying tenders.
  • AutoCAD or Visio proficiency.
  • Health and safety knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

2.) Social Media and Office Support Associate

Job Location: Cement, Iyana Ipaja axis - Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

  • Our client in the in the Electrical / Electronics industry needs a social media/office support personnel, someone with great time management and multitasking skills, to formulate strategies to build a lasting connection with customers on different social media platforms with the intention of driving sales while also supporting the daily operations of the business.

Responsibilities
Content Creation:

  • Creation and execution of social media marketing campaigns to drive sales and product awareness; Developing engaging and product-based contents via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, JiJi, etc
  • Planning and scheduling posts using social media management tools; Monitoring social media metrics, analysing performance, and preparing reports to assess the effectiveness of social media strategies.
  • Interacting with followers and responding to comments, messages, e-mails, phone calls and other inquiries professionally to maintain a positive online presence.

Administrative Support:

  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for official purposes while also ensuring prompt and professional responses to all requests
  • Welcoming customers warmly; maintaining and accounting for office supplies, equipment, and inventory as needed.
  • Drafting and formatting documents, reports, presentations, and maintaining an organised filing system.
  • Supporting the organisation and coordination of office events, meetings, and other activities.
  • Inputting and managing data, maintaining accurate records, and maintaining databases

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in any related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience on a Social media role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight schedules.

3.) Research & Policy Lead

Job Location: Guzape, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose and Function

  • The ‘Research and Policy Lead' is responsible for designing and leading evidence-based policy solutions and advocacy campaigns that contribute to combating gender inequalities, discriminatory practices, and gender-based violence across communities, including environments of learning.
  • The ideal candidate will provide technical support on anti-sexual harassment framework design and adoption in higher education institutions.
  • S/he will be responsible for conducting thorough social and gender research, using the findings in the policy solutions and in the ‘transformation of social norms’ delivery models, and subsequently developing innovative advocacy strategies to facilitate the adoption of innovative policy solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall work of policy review, adoption, and implementation strategies in higher education institutions.
  • Develop high-quality evidence-based analysis, position papers, and policy briefings.
  • Shape policy agenda and contribute to the design of the organization’s strategic goals on policy and advocacy development.
  • Plan and organize formal and non-formal events, conferences, and conversations to promote the adoption of model policies.
  • Develop policy position papers, briefs, and factsheets related to ending gender inequalities and sexual harassment in higher education institutions.
  • Research, analyze, and make evidence-based recommendations on policies linked to sexual harassment.
  • Implement and participate in advocacy efforts and campaigns aiming at the adoption of policies and laws that challenge gender-related norms and behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with the programs' unit and product manager to coordinate advocacy and drive the adoption of survivor-centered reporting mechanisms in tertiary institutions.

Skills and Educational Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Law, Gender Studies, Public Policy, Human Rights, International Development, Public Health or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years in gender advocacy, research, and policy development.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and techniques to conduct research and address related problems.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to establish, maintain effective partnerships and working relations with multi-cultural teams and diverse groups.
  • Experience in designing and implementing advocacy strategies and driving policy engagement.
  • Track record in designing and conducting evidence-based policy research and analysis.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in Gender and women’s rights and of current gender related laws, policies, trends, and gender gaps and priorities.
  • Proficiency in the use of the Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and sufficient experience in statistical software packages and databases (such as SPSS)
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management skills.
