New Heights Pharmaceuticals Limited is a wholly indigenous healthcare company registered in 2004 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act but started business fully February, 2005. The company started as a wholesale business with just two (2) staff.

We have over the years, evolved into a major player in the Healthcare Industry with business footprints spanning Pharmaceutical Wholesaling, Medical Device Marketing, Pharma Sales and Marketing and Consulting. Our business though based in Plot 29 Ilupeju Industrial Avenue, Ilupeju. Lagos,which is the commercial hub of Nigeria with two other offices in Abuja and Port Harcourt, with business operations covering the entire geographical area of the country.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Area Sales Manager (Pharma & Medical Devices)

Job Location: Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Area Sales Manager (Pharma & Medical Devices) role will report to the Regional Sales Manager with the primary responsibility of leading a team of Business Executives to achieve Sales targets and Sales Promotion activities. This position will be domiciled in Ibadan but will coverthe South/West (Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ogun and Kwara) Business areas respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Making Monthly doctor visiting plan for all Business Executives team members and implements it effectively by regular follow-up and discussions with team members.
  • Organizing special meetings with doctors and healthcare professions through Business Executives according to his daily and monthly planning.
  • Set-up campaign and awareness programs for patients & healthcare professionals.
  • Keep in regular contact with team members and maintain healthy communication & relationship.
  • Organizing conferences and seminars for doctors and healthcare professions
  • Generating New Business through team members.
  • Fulfill all requirements of team members in line with company’s policies and plans.
  • Reviewing sales and stock availability in assigned area.
  • Completing monthly, quarterly and yearly sales target.
  • Building relationships with Doctor and Healthcare professions
  • Daily reporting to seniors about daily work, meetings and performance
  • Market review of new products and services.
  • Expert in financial control, collections and commercial functions of the business area.
  • Experts in handling queries, complaints and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure constant training of team members.
  • Keeping detailed record of contacts.
  • Regular attending monthly, quarterly and yearly meeting of company.
  • Keeping up to date about company products, services and schemes.
  • Monitoring activities, products and services of competitors.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Micro Biology,Biological Sciences, Natural Sciences, or related field.
  • 3 - 6 years of work experience.
  • Proven medical/pharma sales experience.
  • Product Knowledge.
  • Creativity and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in large territorial sales and marketing activities.
  • Forecasting and visionary approach
  • Sales management and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in hospital detailing and sales is an added advantage.
  • Ability to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Market research and intelligence to tap competitor analysis.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work and liaise with cross-functional teams.

  • Must reside in Ibadan with ability to travel within the region of resident.

2.) Account Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for Account Officer living in Lagos preferably Lagos Mainland to join our Account team to promote steady best accounting practice.
  • The Account Officer responsibilities includes Supporting the Account Manager in reconciling accounts, disbursement of payments, ensuring accurate records of daily transactions and managing debt recovery.
  • The candidate for this position should be able to demonstrate good knowledge of best practice financial policies, good knowledge of accounting systems and practices, skilled in corporate finance methodologies, risk management, forecasting and control, ability to multitask and work under pressure excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
  • Prepare balance sheets
  • Process invoices
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Make bank deposits and withdrawals
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Update internal systems with financial data
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Track bank deposits and payments
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Enforcing compliance with all financial regulations
  • Having a strategic mind and keen awareness of the company’s budget to create concepts and strategies for revenue growth.
  • Sending monthly statement to customers on or before the 5th day of the new month.
  • Verifies and reconcile all customer payments and transactions related to their account statement.
  • Managing debts recovery: Ensure timely payment on account through proper follow up.
  • Monitoring customers transactions on daily basis
  • Resolving queries on customer’s statement
  • Ensure customers information are maintained correctly on the system and updated when necessary.
  • Visit customers for follow up periodically.

Skills and Qualification Requirements

  • Preferrably male for gender balance
  • First Degree in Finance / Accounting or related discipline
  • Relevant professional certification is an added advantage
  • Two-years (2) of post-graduate experience
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Peachtree and SAP).
  • Skilled in corporate finance methodologies, risk management, forecasting and control
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management.
  • Good Knowledge of best practice financial policies
  • Good knowledge of accounting systems and practices
  • Resilient.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Ability to travel frequently.

Job Description

  • We are looking for Medical Sales Representative living in Rivers, Lagos and Kano Stateto promote our healthcare products and services to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals around Rivers State and other neigbouring states.
  • The Medical Sales Representative’s responsibilities include sales as well as business development of our healthcare products (home use medical devices and pharma products), identifying prospective business opportunities for the company, and providing the relevant customer feedback.
  • The candidate for this position should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and build rapport with potential customers.
  • Ultimately, our outstanding Medical Sales Representative should be able to continually meet or exceed the company's sales expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Selling the healthcare products (Home use Medical devices and Pharma Products) to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Scheduling appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote healthcare products.
  • Following up on leads generated by the company.
  • Preparing presentations for potential customers.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of healthcare products.
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
  • Researching competitor’s products and their respective market performances.
