Job Summary

  • Our client is looking for a Deputy General Manager. The Deputy General Manager will be responsible for implementing internal business initiatives, improving process efficiencies in addition to developing and sustaining strong relationships in the travel industry.


  • Overseeing overall operations
  • Providing clear direction and guidelines of operation; and setting positive example for attitude, professionalism and work ethic.
  • Experience in client relationship management, setting standards appropriate to affiliates, agents, clients and scope of work.
  • Implements and monitors KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for team.
  • Coordinates and leads business reviews with company representatives for each reporting operation
  • Creating an environment of accountability, controlling costs, managing budgets and developing the team.
  • Enhance the relationship with third party suppliers, building and maintaining relationships with key clientele, developing and implementing the sales and marketing plan
  • The ability to recruit staff and monitor performance. Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance, operating standards and procedures.
  • Managing, motivating and training key team members.
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and able to communicate at senior level.
  • Maintain strong communication, teams, vendors and suppliers.


  • Interested candidates should possess a B.A and B.Sc in relevant field
  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience actively in the travel and tours industry
  • Must have held managerial role in the travel industry, with express records of completed projects
  • Excellent communication skills, MSExcel, customer relations and crisis management
  • Leadership qualities and ownership mindset.
  • Must have managed a team on grounds of efficiency and speed.
  • Proven track records in Visa processing, Visa documentation, and immigration advisory
  • Must have worked with top travel and tour companies within or outside Nigeria
  • Must be a mature person (age, physique, Charisma).
